I might be the only person here that know where North Bay is. My Wife is from Ville Maria PQ. I met her when I was a soldier at Ft Bragg and her family was on vaction at Myrtle Beach. This was in 1989 before internet:P. We had to write and call. She would not come down and see me, her father would not let her. So if we were going to have any relationship it was up to me. I drove there ONE time, after that I would fly into North Bay and they would pick me up. Her father would invite me to hunt moose and I would go, little did i know that meant really he and I in the middle of no where hunting... But what I want to say was her dad was right if she came and saw me tWhen I would not have been working on the relationship like she was. Instead I had to put more in it as it should be. We have been married for 18 years now and I don't think if it would have happened if she did all the work. When she did come it down her family did too, and you know I'm sure her dad was a logger I was NOT going to be on his bad side:P make them commit before you go visit them, make them wake up and see how important you are to them. Worked for us.
